The Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation is a non-profit organization responsible for maintaining our Olympic facilities at world-class levels and using them to provide opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to watch, learn and excel in winter sports.

Inspired by the success and momentum of the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games, the Foundation has turned its focus toward embracing, engaging and involving Utah’s youth in winter sport. Your ticket purchase goes directly to supporting the Foundation and future winter athletes.

    Saturday, June 21

    Join us to celebrate the Olympic and Paralympic spirit and the unity of sport on Saturday, June 21!

     

    3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

    Guests will be given an event passport upon entry to encourage participation in all the available free activities. If they fill out their entire passport, they’ll receive free entry into the Flying Ace All-Stars Freestyle Pool Show. Free activities to encourage movement will include a push track experience, laser biathlon, a workout session with an Olympian, National Abilities Center adaptive biking, the “Let’s Move” station and Action Tower activities from 3 pm to 6 pm. We’ll have a DJ and photo booth. The Alf Engen Ski Museum will have an Olympic Day memorabilia exhibit from 3 to 6 pm. An Olympic and Paralympic athlete meet and greet and autograph signing is available from 4 pm to 6 pm before the culmination of the evening in the exciting Flying Ace All-Stars Freestyle Show at 6:30 pm.

     

    The Flying Ace All-Stars show features Team USA Olympians and National Team skiers and snowboarders performing aerial acrobatic feats as they soar up to 60 feet in the air before splashing into the Park’s Spence Eccles Olympic Freestyle Pool.

    Friday, June 20
    Join us to celebrate the Olympic and Paralympic spirit and the unity of sport on Friday, June 20!
    Oval Olympic Day will feature outdoor skating, hockey and curling sport demos for you to try each sport for free starting at 7:00 p.m.
    Public Skate will start at 6:00 p.m. Skate admission with rental is $6.
    Following the outdoor activities, watch a FREE outdoor movie screening of “Miracle” at 9 pm with KOPFC (Kearns Oquirrh Pool & Fitness Center)
    Friday, June 20
    Join KOPFC and Utah Olympic Oval for a free outdoor movie screening of Miracle on Friday, June 20th at 9:30 p.m. Enter through the South kiosk of KOPFC, near Oquirrh Pool. Outdoor games, music and food will be available.
    *No alcohol or glass allowed.
  • Soldier Hollow Nordic Center
    Wednesday, June 11

    The Wasatch Trail Run Series takes place spring thru summer on Wednesday evenings on the dirt trails of open space preserves and ski resorts along the Wasatch Front/Park City in Utah.

    The Wednesday evening races offer both a Short Course (3-5 miles) and Long Course (7-9 miles) accommodating the needs of all skill levels. Participants are placed in age based/sex categories and accumulate series points from each race. Awards are given at the end of season to the participants in each category who accumulate the most points. The race series also has a charitable component.

    Friday, June 20

    Join us June 20-22 for the Western Region Rollerski Biathlon Championships! The Western Region Roller Ski Biathlon Championships are a development opportunity for biathletes residing in the western part of the United States. Official training, a sprint race & shoot out, and a mass start 60 race round out this incredible event. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to hone their biathlon skills.

    MORE THAN A RACE

    As the premiere MTB racing series in the Intermountain West, the series combines the best courses in Utah with some of the most competitive racing in the country. Lest the newbies be affrighted, racer categories include little shredders through high schoolers as well as novice through elite riders. So, whether you want to dip a toe in or test your mettle against some of the nation’s elite riders, the Intermountain Cup MTB Racing Series has something for you.
